An incredible dress or statement ring featuring a large, marquise-shaped, cabochon-cut amethyst in a bezel setting, mounted in 9 carat yellow gold with split shoulders. A showstopping piece from the late 1960's.
Hallmarked as 9 carat gold, dated London 1969.
Maker's mark "SEC".
The stone plus the bezel setting measures approximately 24.7mm (L) x 11mm (W).
The approximate weight is 5.5 grams.
