A traditional three stone diamond ring, dating to circa 1920-1930, the old cut diamonds mounted diagonally in platinum upon an 18 carat yellow gold shank. The use of platinum alongside gold is often found in antique jewellery, as platinum provides security and longevity due to its hardness over gold as a metal.
Tested for 18 carat gold and platinum. Stamped "PLAT".
The estimated total diamond weight is 0.30 carats.
The approximate weight is 2.0 grams.
