This superb antique locket made in the Victorian era is crafted in beautiful 18ct yellow gold and features a turquoise studded cross entwined with a pearl studded anchor. The cross and anchor, often depicted alongside a heart, was a popular motif in Victorian jewellery and symbolised 'Faith, Hope and Charity'.
The monogrammed 'C' to the reverse suggests the name of the owner in years gone by.
The locket measure approximately 50.9mm x 31mm (including halter).
The approximate weight is 18.1 grams.

CONDITION: Overall very good, some light wear commensurate with age including some light dents to the reverse as shown. The locket opens and closes as it should.
