An impressive mid-Victorian brooch comprised of a circular body, the back of which houses a glazed locket compartment, the front adorned with an arch of seven foil-backed emeralds, set upon a 3D buckle motif with intricate engraving. Two rope sections and a tassel hang freely below, all crafted in 15ct gold. A rare and finely made antique item which would be a prize addition to any jewellery collection.
