An incredible, rare, antique fob shaped as a drum with drumsticks, crafted in 15ct yellow gold and featuring an intriguing seal engraving upon agate to the bottom. The seal shows a griffon's head above a crown, with the Latin motto "Fide Et Fortitudine", or "By fidelity and fortitude". Furthermore, the lid of the drum is hinged and opens to reveal a hidden compass.
A truly special, one-of-a-kind piece of history in wonderful condition.

The charm measures approximately 26 x 14mm (including the jump ring).
The approximate weight is 5.0 grams.

CONDITION: In very good antique condition, with some light wear commensurate with age. The lid of the drum opens and closes with a snap as it should. The seal engraving is in fantastic condition with no damage. The compass pointer spins but does stick, and has not been tested for accuracy.
