A fantastic antique brooch featuring a gem-studded fly, with a sapphire and pearl body, pearl wings and diamond eyes. He sits upon a bar fitting, all mounted in 9 carat yellow gold.

Circa 1900-1915.

Unmarked, tested as 9 carat gold.

The brooch measures approximately 37.2mm (L).
The fly measures approximately 15.7mm (L) x 14.4mm (W).

The approximate weight is 3.0 grams.
