A delightful antique ring, featuring a central Emerald, surrounded by six white half-pearls in a traditional flower cluster shape. This would once have been a mourning ring, designed to hold a lock of hair of a departed loved one, as the compartment behind the head suggests.
Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.
The head measures approximately 9.5mm in diameter.
The approximate weight is 2.3 grams.
Please note the antique ring box pictured is for display purposes only and is not included in this sale. Thank you.
Ring size Q (UK) or 8 (US) - due to the pearls, we do not offer a sizing service on this ring. We advise that you discuss sizing options with your local jeweller. For UK to US ring size conversions we use www.ringsizes.co as our reference chart.
CONDITION: Overall good, however there is some glue residue where the pearls have been glued in; this can be seen when viewed closely.
