A characterful antique diamond ring, claw set with old-cut diamonds in a navette shaped head, with attractive split and scrolled shoulders, crafted in 18ct yellow gold with full English hallmarks for the year 1914 - just at the start of the first world war. A beautiful ring which could be worn as an engagement ring.
Hallmarked as 18ct gold, dated Birmingham 1914.
Maker's mark "E&W".
The cluster measures approximately 15.6mm (L) x 7mm (W).
