A stunning, rare antique locket back pendant crafted in 15ct yellow gold, the glass compartment containing an exquisitely presented lock of brown hair with gold wire decoration, the front featuring a small emerald and five half pearls, set amongst flowers, with a chased halter.
Circa 1830-1850.
Unmarked, tested as 15ct gold.
The pendant measures approximately 27.9mm (L) x 17.2mm (W).
The approximate weight is 3.4 grams.
