A fantastic souvenir brooch from Australia dating to the late 19th / early 20th century, comprising a boomerang reading "BEST WISHES", with an upright kangaroo in the centre. On the back is a classic hinged pin and C catch, and an Australian hallmark for 9 carat gold.

Circa 1900.

With partial Australian stamps for 9 carat gold.

The brooch measures approximately 51.8mm (L) x 24.9mm (W).

The approximate weight is 2.3 grams.

CONDITION: In very good antique condition. With some light wear commensurate with age. The pin and catch function perfectly.
