A fine quality antique bird brooch, of an eagle with outspread wings, fully detailed with a cabochon-cut ruby for the eye, and intricate engraving to the front and reverse to resemble feathers. We believe this to be an RAF brooch, as it mimics the emblem closely.

Unmarked, tested as 15ct gold.
The brooch measures approximately 38 x 11mm.
The approximate weight is 3.3 grams.
