An elegant antique circular locket, the front bearing a blank shield cartouche (suitable for engraving) surrounded by "sunray" or wave engraving, the back with a ful English hallmark dating to 1913. Inside are two circular spaces for photographs.
Hallmarked as 9ct gold, dated Chester 1913.
Maker's mark "M&G" or "M&C".
The locket measures approximately 31.5mm (L) x 26mm (W).
The approximate weight is 4.3 grams.
